Sometimes I want to text a phrase to a 5-digit number on the AT&T network.  However, when I enter the 5-digit number it tells me that that is not in my contacts.  How do I get around this?  Thanks.

Click on the menu icon to the left, and click Enter Number.
There you go.

(What you're doing now is look for a contact who's name is the number you're entering itself. I think..)
