I figured out a way to have your phone in landcape mode without using the keyboard

1. Edit a picture
2. Press the Multitask button (the middle hard key)
3. By then you should see that everything is in landscape!

yes but the menus dont rotate with accelerometer only some applications. Good to know Nike!

thts cool but when u go back to exiut editing it goes back to portrait. i wish u could just turn it and boom have landscape like the iphone

Turn it and open the keyboard and it'll be landscape.

As far as accelerometer, the only apps that use it AFAIK the Web Browser, Picture Viewer (when viewing a picture), Audio Player, and Video Player.

Picture Viewer follows the accelerometer.
Go back to Picture View, choose a picture, then rotate the phone back to Portrait and exit.

Otherwise I guess you could reboot the phone.
