so my music always has problem, like ill put my music on on some will be fine but the other says its unknown...now i have no clue why because i taged all my music and everything...BUT i figured it out, when your music is encrypted with LAME or whatever the phone will recognize the tags to it, if it is encrypted with iTunes the phone will not understand the tags!!! now the only trouble im having is how to encrypt it with the LAME or whatever...so if you know a little about encrypting songs help me out a little...

I used a program called Mp3tag to assign an album to a bunch of songs. It was easier than a playlist. Maybe give it a go to re-tag what you have?

I used MediaMonkey.  It can look up album info online too.

sorry i meant to say encoded. so it will not matter if the song has the mp3 tag or not, as long as its encoded with itunes and not lame it will not show the info on your phone. but the only thing is is that i dont know how to re encode songs or whatever
