The default Java security policy prevents third-party apps from accessing the GPS.
That's why so many of us want to get access to the filesystem so we can change that.

I found some free GPS apps on getjar, but most look for a bluetooth GPS receiver not internal.

Now I just bought a bluetooth GPS receiver and still no luck, may be a hardware issue.

Mine works fine with bluetooth GPS, on Rogers network.
