The firmware of XENON is not a strong as IPHONE. The problem with the cellphone is that it couldn't display any other languages besides ENG, FRA, KOR. Check IPHONE, much better firmware. how can XENON be competitive with IPHONE??

The answer is simple.  It's not.  I don't think anyone considers it an iPhone competitor either.

Just because it's a touchscreen doesn't mean it was made to be an iPhone competitor. It's only here for people who would rather have it.

Personally if I had my way with it, I would rather have this than the iPhone, just jailbroken, and a little bigger of a screen. The keypad is wonderful, and I haven't found anything to be bad.(even considering the message box fills quick, but I delete them all about every hour anyways).

The only "real" iPhone competitors are the Palm Pre, HTC Hero, and a couple of other random phones. Comparing a phone to the iPhone because it has a touch screen is like comparing a motorcycle to a boat because they have engines.

But you are right about the fact that it would be nice to have multilingual support, but they never have my native language anyways.

@lightninman thanks for the warning, but its not a torrent site. It is something more complex. So no trouble there. And BTW, I have read the rules. It's one of the first things your suppose to do when you join a new site.

XENON's firmware needs alot improvement, at least not good enough.
The company could have made it better, but developing=money.
in conclusion, LG so CHEAP.

Every company has their good and bad products, and good and bad habits. For example, when Samsung manages to score a really good and popular product, they use that phone as a template, and make slight changes to appeal to different audiences. Maybe LG hasn't been able to make good firmware choices, but nobody's perfect.

Idk, i just like the phone, the Xenono is simple and easy to use. Good touch screen and amazing keyboard. I actually do not like the iphone because you have to use a touch screen keyboard. I prefer feeling the actual keys with my fingers, but thats my preference.

There are quirks I don't like about it, but come on...  The Xenon was $50 for me.  An iPhone is still $200+ for one I'd want, though I suppose you could get a refurb 8GB for $50, but I don't like getting refurb products that I can't repair - especially phones.

If you don't like the Xenon, just don't get it.  Otherwise state specific things about it that are good or bad.  Just saying "It sucks" and "It's cheap" doesn't help anyone make an informed decision.

@curlefry Thank you. I work hard at them.

@mrblack If you don't like the Xenon, why don't you just return it and get a different phone? You could try the Samsung Impression, and see if you prefer their firmware better.
