So, I should let it die completely and then recharge it? Mine's almost dead after 10 hours. Of course, I just got the phone a few days ago and I'm all excited with it and using it A TON.

let the battery die and charge it all the way up do that. That should keep the battery life pretty good for a while.

Wow. I changed mine from Dual Mode to 2G Only (since we don't have 3G where I live) and it went from about 10 hours of life to almost 2 days.... I'm sure me charging it better had SOME to do with it... but that's a HUGE improvement.

I charge mine until it says charge complete. I then use it until it dies/dieing. Even when I do this it lasts me maybe half a day since I'm constantly texting/talking/surfing the web. Am I doing something wrong?

Most cell phone batteries are Lithium-Ion Polymer.  While it is important to fully charge it, it is not a good idea to completely discharge it.
http://www.batteryuniversity.com/ is a good site with info about a lot of battery types.

I should note that on Li-Ion and Li-Poly batteries, the charge/discharge cycle is sometimes necessary to recalibrate the battery life meter.

So at some point you should see how long it really lasts.  It might just stay alive at 1 bar for a LONG time.

The trick is to make sure once it's "dead" you immediately recharge it.  If you leave it dead too long, it'll really be dead and won't come back to life.  I have a Sony InfoLithium battery that died this way...  Of course my Sony charger supports Full charge (monitored discharge, then recharge) in addition to Quick charge.

Like Aaron says, discharge it then recharge it.

Battery life will vary greatly depending on a number of factors such as...
Backlight use time (and timeout time)
Call time
Internet usage
Bluetooth usage
3G signal strength (if you have spotty 3G coverage, it'll eat power trying to "find" the signal)
Keypad tones (I turn off all use sound except DTMF and ring/alert tones)
Touch vibration intensity
Volume

Hey, ok def this battery isn't as good as some, but like always there are tons of ways to help you out.
1st: The higher the back light, the more battery usage.
2nd: Well these days most Cell phone Providers(Rogers,At&t,Etc) are 3G, 3G uses alot of battery because its pulling in more in a basic way to explain that. A way to turn your 3G off while your not using it, is to: Access the Engineering Menu which you can find on this site, then go to MODEM SETTING, next you go to NETWORK MODE then AGAIN NETWORK MODE then change to 2G. It saves a ton of battery.
3rd: The Mobile internet uses battery like a fat person eats, which is alot!! Smiley So basiclly dont use it like 24/7.
Hope i helped a bit Thanks Smiley
