When everything gets hacked up and modded here are a few things I would like to see.

Text message notifications that say who messaged you

Redux of the conversation view... When I select a message I wanna see what was said before that, and only to that message not everything said by that person because sometimes I will have multiple convos with one person... Example: Blackberry curve's text message system

All keys can be binded... Such as holding 2 to call my dad, I wanna hold f to call fred

Auto words... if I type "ILY, I want it to automatically be replaced by I Love You, and able to create as many of these Auto's as I want... Example: Blackberry Curve

Save texts of sd card

Disable the Internet keys

Picture and sound folders... I want to create a folder in my pictures so I can organize them.

Folders work, but in order for the folder to work in the Picture Album view on the phone, the folder (and hence items) must be in Phone memory.  It doesn't work if the folder is on the SD card - it all just gets collapsed into one level.

Fully customizable security lockouts like my 4 Motorolas had.  You can set individual lockouts on virtually anything you want.

Shortcut keys.

Disable the stupid Rogers/Fido ringtone lockout. (That's Roger's fault)

GPS enabled! (That's Roger's fault).

Customizable themes.

When I'm using the browser, and I move the cursor to a text entry field, I'd like to just start typing in instead of having to tap the screen on that text entry field to initate it.  How redundant is that?

When you put the phone on silent, you really mean silent and not hear "message from ......"

If you choose to view thumbnails or list view, each folder is fully customizable individually.

Working predictive text entry.

Address fields in contacts list.

Something like http://www.spreeder.com/ for ebooks would be cool, the words could take up the whole screen holding it sideways.

Actually, if you hit a key, it'll jump into text entry - you don't have to tap.

You have the voice announcement feature enabled, right?

Working predictive text entry.
Can you elaborate on this?  Do you just not like the predictive text, or is yours truly broken?

Mine is DEFINITELY broken....the words it predicts are words that i already used in the sentence, and half the time they don't even make grammatical sense. Waste of a function...

Actually sounds like your predictive text is working as-designed.  It doesn't have any grammar or context rules that I know of built into it.  It just tries to guess words based on words you've used in the past.

I agree that it's pretty useless, though I guess some people like it??
