First off, welcome to the forum!

Well, I assume you have the LG Xenon, since you are posting here. If you're looking to mod your Xenon, check http://www.lg-xenon.com/lg-xenon-modifications/let-the-hacking-begin!/ for the info one gaining file access to the Xenon.

Sadly, porting ANY decent WM OS to this phone is not worthwhile. Sure, it could probably be done, but it would be so slow and buggy that it's make the phone unusable. If your goal is to do it just to prove it can be done, then by all means, mod away! That's what they're doing in the LG Incite forums, they've been working on porting Android to it, just to see if its doable.

Anyways, I hope this helped out, and by all means, mod away

There is probably another way to the file system. I've been able to access the contacts list just like using LG's PC Suite from myphoneexplorer using the LG drivers with the Xenon's USB set to Data Service. I tried and failed using LG's Suite to access the rest of the system, but maybe you can figure something out.

Good luck!
