Some LG Xenon models have a front facing camera on them, mine does. So far the only ways I know how to access that camera is by either opening video chat or typing in the phone's test code into the dial pad (3845#*500#). Does anyone know of a hack or something that allows videos and pictures to be taken using the front camera so they can be saved to the phone's memory?

Mine has a front facing camera too. I haven't heard of any other way to accessing that camera, though.

I can't tell since I don't have one but usually either there's a button/toggle/setting in the camera app, or you might try holding down the camera button and see if that does something.  On mine a long-press will launch the video recorder instead of the camera app, but it might do different on yours.

Nope, pressing and holding only makes it open video recorder.

I'm sure it can be done...
Someone would have to go through the video calling feature of the phone...granted, they have to find it first...and see how exactly it's being accessed...but then that would mean that they would have to create either a macro or rewrite some odd code to access it through a button that already has a function.

Not the easiest thing to do, I believe.
