I just tried out my old Belkin bluetooth adapter in Windows 7 and I have to say I am very impressed how easy it is to use bluetooth devices. I haven't really tried using bluetooth since Windows XP SP2 was new, so I don't know what its like in Vista or XP these days, but it sure was much better than having to use the sucky software that came with the adapter. Also, I used to have issues getting my headsets (both my stereo headphones and mono headset) and  to sync correctly with it, and in 7 it works flawlessly and is easy to access it.

What kind of experiences have you guys had with bluetooth on other platforms?

Works great with Vista. I have never tried Bluetooth on my laptop even though I've had it for a year. It was easy to set up the link between the laptop and the phone and it transfers stuff easily. I just wish I could transfer a lump of files with one click rather than having to okay one at a time.
