As you can see from my login ID I am from Delaware. I have had my Xenon for about a week. I got it from AT&T as a replacement for a phone that wasn't 3G. I had been told the non 3G signal in the area I'm in was just as strong as 3G; This was not the case.
I had to put up with them sending me the same phone twice because they wanted to make sure the problem wasn't the phone.
The LG X I received was a refurb and only came with a house charger but oh well I'm just glad I can get a signal. I wanted a black one but all they had was blue, really a nice looking phone.
I have enjoyed using and learning to use this phone but...I had to decide while I was on the phone with AT&T as they were telling me what was available.
I quickly researched online the phones and loved the fact that it was "WIFI capable".
I guess the joke was on me because as everyone knows it isn't capable of WIFI, the info I came across was prier to release maybe but it was definitely wrong.
I look forward to looking over this forum and hopfully contributing as well.

I'm sorry the source was misleading, but isn't the phone great anyways? I mean, sure, it has it's problems, but wouldn't you have gotten it anyways?

Except for the headphone adapter (I believe there are some Motorola adapters that should work), everything else is just standard Micro USB B.

Actually, I don't think the micro usb port supports headphone. I took an old pair of headphones, and a micro usb data cable, and soldered  them together, but it didn't work. I matched up all the wires correctly, unless there was a problem with the data cable.

Hmm, I thought I had read at HoFo or one of the other forums that someone had it working, but it seems most folks haven't.

One guy said he was successful by combining an old LG adapter and a Moto adapter, but the YouTube video is gone, so not sure if it's real or not.

I think it uses some of the unused pins on the Micro USB connector (it has 5 conductors, USB uses only 4) or has some kind of short or circuitry to tell the phone that it's a headphone adapter.

The Xenon datasheet does list a "3.5mm adaptor" so either the datasheet is wrong, or we don't know what the correct LG part number is and where to find it yet.

I bought a Motorola Micro USB to 3.5mm adapter from Ebay, and was unable to listen through a regular pair of earbuds.  In fact, it didn't even mute the Xenon speaker.

I'm glad that I didn't pay too much for the adapter.

I just found something, not sure if they'll work or not.

I'm not able to try them out, but maybe someone else?
