How are you doing Xenon owners. Maybe some of you recognize my name. I happen to be an admin on the samsung eternity, impression, solstice, mythic, and HTC HD2 forums.
I myself own a samsung impression. And your phone is similiar but yet so different to mine. I have developed many tricks and mods for my impression. I was just browsing today to see what your members thought of the xenon and to see what issues you have. I like to keep myself up to date.
I dont want to intrude or paste anything on your forum that you might consider illegal. So admins dont let me overstep my grounds here. But I thought I might be able to introduce some new things for some of your members that might make your site and phone more enjoyable.
I have found a google maps from a european samsung phone that is touchscreen and uses the gps. Yes I said uses the gps. Since google maps is free I wouldnt consider this warez or illegal. Many apps that work on the samsungs also work on the LG's. Maybe this will work for you. I will give you the link to the samsung impression forum where you can find the jar and jad. I cannot tell you how to install it as I am unfamiliar with your phone, but I believe you can find that info on here. Also you will have to add your own fullscreen jad attributes. You might even have to adjust the mapping of the buttons. I already saw that someone on here has the knowledge to do it but it might not even be necessary.
You will have to register on the impression forum to see the download links. Your head admin LG Xenon can vouche for me. If someone tries to install (someone that knows how to install) and has issues please PM me and maybe I can help get the bugs out. I do know a little about the LG phones. I possibly might be able to find a true LG version if this one can't be installed. Also not sure if you have a way to give permissions to use the gps. ATT had it locked on our phones for ATT apps only but I have discovered ways around that.
