I've had my Xenon for a few months now and it seems ok. It seems to do things on its own sometimes (opening windows, making calls) with the screen locked. I did not know how to update its software, so I did a Google search which led me here. I found my answer and know I'm a member. I think its cool to have a fourm dedicated to my phone. I'm sure it will be very useful.

Welcome!

Before I got a case for my Xenon, I carried it in my pocket and even with "lock on screen close" I would still get occasional pocket dials.

The problem is that the screen open sensor is fairly sensitive, and when you open the screen, it unlocks the phone.  So a slight movement in the pocket would move the screen enough to unlock it and sometimes it'd get a touch detected too.
