When I go into Settings-More-Memory-Used Space-Phone Reserved, I notice it says I have 79/150 text messages.  I actually only have 48 messages.

Does anyone know how to clear these out?  Also, in the Used Space-Phone Common, it is showing 168442 KB in Others.  This taking up alot of room.

HELP!!!!!

Do you have more text messages in your Outbox in addition to your Inbox?

Not entirely sure what Others entails.  It might be the provider-installed apps and their data.

Oh, I forgot to mention...

If a message is multi-part, then it may be counted only as one message in the Inbox, even though technically it may be 2 or more.

Also check your Drafts - those count too.

I have had this same problem twice now.

The 1st time I "fixed" it was doing a master reset and a master clear.

Now, it has happened again.  I store all my photos/videos/music/etc on my 8gb sd card and my phone memory is full again.  I tried to send a pix message but it wouldn't work because of the whole Phone/Reserved Common Memory being full.

I really don't want to do another master reset/master clear, as I'd have to change all my settings back to the way I like them.  This seems to be a common problem but I haven't seen any definite solutions, I've searched for hours on the subject tbh.

I have deleted the following and have had no change in my "free" memory:
- Call History
- All texts (inbox, outbox, drafts)
- Recent web pages
- Cache for the browser
- Cookies for the browser

I don't have any applications or games installed.  I do browse the internet quite frequently on my phone, I'm wondering if that's how the phone common memory gets full?

Has anyone figured out how to free up the common phone memory without master reset/master clear?

Here's some screenshots of my phone's memory:

I also found a few of the pictures that I had saved from MMS messages went into the phone memory instead of onto my SD card, so I moved those.

I still have 99425 KB in my Others though...

Will dig around more...  It's disturbing to me that I have that much space used.
