touchscreen not working

HI, I’ve had my xenon for a few months now. Last month the screen started becoming less and less responsive. At the time I did nothing about it, but now the screen as stopped responding all together. I cannot access anything that requires touching the screen to get into. I can answer and end calls, and scroll my phone book only because of the keyboard shortcut to the contact list. Is there anyway to access the menu from the keyboard??? I also have a huge number of text messages I cannot open (due to the unresponsive screen), and I cannot sent out messages to inform my contact list of this, as you need to touch the screen to select ’send’.

PLEASE HELP!!
