So I have had an LG Xenon for quite sometime and when the touch screen had stopped working I went and got a brand new Xenon because I loved it so much. The problem is that I want to transfer pictures and videos from the old xenon to the new xenon. I have the cord to connect the phone directly to the computer, but i need to access the settings menu to allow the USB function to work. Any ideas on how to get through to the settings menu without using the touchscreen? Any help is much appreciated!!

In some of the menus you can use the number keys (with keyboard open, obviously) to navigate, possibly arrow keys.

Press-and-hold the Multi-task button might get you to the Settings menu... I can't remember.  Will try to remember to check when I get home (Xenon is no longer my primary phone, but I still have a spare).

Weeeell, unfortunately I don't have good news.

I played around with the buttons and keyboard last night.

Press-and-hold Call button will get you to Recent Calls, this is just a tidbit.

Press-and-hold Multi-task button will get you to Top Menu but you need the touchscreen to get the Settings.

So I tried another route, opening the keyboard and entering Engineering Mode using the keyboard keys to dial (you don't have to Fn them, just hit the corresponding numbers/symbols) the code.

That got me to Engineering menu.
The Up/Down arrow keys work to move the highlight, but I couldn't find a way to select an option with the keyboard...
I was hoping at least if I could navigate, maybe I could do something, but I tried all the keyboard keys and hardware buttons and nothing seemed to work.

Maybe I missed something, but it doesn't look good.

Does the touch screen register anything at all?

BTW, USB Mass Storage mode will only give you access to stuff stored on the Micro SD card, which you should be able to just eject and put into your working Xenon.

For the stuff in phone memory, you'll need to connect via Bluetooth OBEX FTP, which will require some menu access to pair, enable visibility and allow connection, unless you already had it enabled before the touchscreen went out.
