OK guys, I bet this as been asked before, but please bare with me..

So i bought this phone 2 days ago, and im fiddling around with the ringtones
I just bought a micro sd, and im putting music on hoping to set it as a ringtone.
I found out you had to reduce the song size, so I went on a site and made the song to 30 seconds.

So i transfered the 30 second song, and it shows up under the Organizer, than in audo/ring tones. Than i go under settings, in the same section, but the file doesnt show up. When i go back to the organizer, I go to the file, but I can't set it to the ringtone

please help me!

I found out that from the organzer -> audio/ring tones you can set the ringtones from there, but the files i added dont have that option

Try making the file size under 300kb ... you can do that by lowering the KBit / sec. [and the ringtone should still sound loud or at least mine did after reducing the KBit / sec. from 320 to 80 Shocked ]

A number of conditions must be met:
  • File size has to be 300 kb or less.
  • File must be compatible format (MP3)
  • If you are on Fido/Rogers, the ringtone must be received OTA - send it as a SMS/MMS attachment to your phone.
