I am new to this forum, and I read everything and did not see this topic. But I just got this phone, and love it except for a few things that drive me crazy. Most of all when i put my sd card into the phone it put my files everywhere. My music is both under the music section( which is the mp3 player) but also under audio, why is this. Also my ring tones are under both sounds and audio, I can deal with the ring tones doing that, but I don't like to listen to songs, then having to hear a ring tone. It also seems like I can only set a personal ring tone for a person if it is under audio, if it is under sounds(ring tones) i can only set it as the main ring tone. i have tried to move folders and everything around on my computer, but no luck, can anyone help?

The Xenon organizez your music for you,

Full music tracks are in the music player,

while ringtones go under sounds to be used for your phone.

All playable sound files, whether music or ringtone, go under audio.

And sounds has a list of different things that use sounds, like ringtone, message tone, and alert tone.

So if you click on ringtone in sounds, your setting the sound for ringtone,
which goes the same for message tone.

As for setting rings for a contact, you either go into audio or access the contact itself.

Untill we get some drivers, there is nothing that can be done to change anything.

Hope I was helpfull  Smiley

Thank you, that was helpful, except that a lot of my full music files aren't all under music, some of them are only under audio. I don't understand that. I do hope we get some drivers soon!

Hmmmmmm, thats odd.

Are these files under 300 kbs?

if so then the phone will recognise them as sounds,

if they are not under sounds, maybe they are in a different format?

Can the phone play the files at all?

if not then they are probably in the wrong format, .mp3 is the format I think the Xenon supports.

Also, the Xenon doesnt work with itunes music, which Is highly annoying.

My phone is putting some of my ringtones in the Music Player... nvm. LOL! I realized that all the ones that are in the music player are 300+ file size.

BTW, thanks Warrior for explaining all that so wonderfully. Now, I just wish they had a "search" option for the sounds (ringtones). That'd be great.
