I've been looking on Ebay for a MicroSD card, however almost all of the new cards are the Micro SD HC ones.  They specifically say make SURE your phone is compatible for that new card.

I asked an online rep at att.com (thru their help) and they said the Xenon is not and only works with the Micro SD.  However, I looked at every new pda phone available and in ALL the features it says MicroSD on ALL those phones.  It doesn't mention the new MicroSD HC in any phone.

So were they mis-informed?  Will the Micro SD HC card work?

I have no idea about the HC cards, but

$8.50 for 2gb shipped; can't get much better then that.  Works great for me.

Well I want at least an 8GB one, if not the 16GB.  I want to be able to put lots of songs, pics and games on it.

The 8GB on newegg is SD HC, I just looked.

SDHC should work, as long as it is 16GB or less.

well then I am confused why it says that there is a 16GB cap to memory on a memory card, because there aren't any regular microSD cards that support more than 2GB, since 2GB is the max of the microSD spec. It wouldn't make sense that it supports more than the spec, because there would never be any cards larger than 2GB that aren't SDHC.

Well I just bought a 4GB one off Ebay....so if the above posts hold true it should work fine....and I really don't see why it shouldn't work.  I think the ATT rep was just clueless.

I bought the 8gig for less than $20 yesterday, I think like you and need alot of space lol. It was either a 16gig for about $50 or a 8gig for $20, not a hard choice. I'll let you know if it works if you're still wondering.

MicroSD has a capacity up to 2GB, anything above 2GB is MicroSDHC, the HC stands for High Capacity, and the Lg Xenon has a support for 16gb, which is the maximum capacity for MicroSDHC cards anyways.

For future reference, never trust any representative on the phone, they work for minimum wage and dont really give a crap about helping you. They are also normally outsourced to a seperate company and not actually part of your service provider, as well as the only training they have is going through a troubleshooting menu on a screen in front of them.
