Memory and max text messages

So I've had the phone for about a week and my inbox is full. I ordered a 2gig microsd card, but am I right in assuming even with that I won't be able to hold more messages then 150? Cause I still have like 60mb free on the phone. Why limit the number of messages on a messaging phone to 150?!

Also, totally unrelated, I now have a data cable and was curious if there were any drivers yet to access the device? I want explorer to see it like it were in a bluetooth connection.

yea, that 150 message limit is pretty gimp. I wish I could save to the memory card, but sadly there isn't a way to get around the cap...yet. Maybe if someone found some firmware hacks it could be done, but not the way it is now.
