I just bought an unlocked AT&T LG Xenon and I thought it would work on Rogers.
So far everything works fine except for the internet. With Rogers I have the Unlimited WAP Browsing plan.
I made the changes to the internet settings so now I can get onto the internet from the phone's browser which is MEdia Net. But I get a message from Rogers that says I need a data plan.
Is there some other settings I need to change in order to access WAP browsing on this phone? I would appreciate any help!
Below are the settings that I changed my phone to.

Step 1:

Settings tab>> More>> Connection>> Access Points and add these two access points:
Click 'New Profile'
Connection Title: Rogers APN
Authentication: High
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap
APN: internet.com

Click 'New Profile'
Connection Title: Rogers MMS
Authentication: High
Username: media
Password: mda01
APN: media.com

Step 2:

Settings tab >>More>> Connection>>Internet Profiles
Profile name: Rogers
Use Proxy: On
Proxy Address: 10.128.1.69
Proxy Port Number: 80
Access Point: Rogers APN

Step 3:

Settings tab>> Applications>> Browser>> Accounts>> New Account
Account Name: Rogers TCP
HomePage: http://mymobilehomepage.rogers.com
Internet Profile: Rogers

Step 4:

Settings tab>> Applications>> Messaging>> Multimedia Msg>> Message Center>> New Message Center
Name: Rogers MMS
MMSC URL: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Internet Profile: Rogers
