Homescreen notepad gone

I have the notepad, the one that comes from the little arrow and the box with a bunch of items in it, I usually have that out for reminders. I saw it on my screen, and then next thing I know it's gone. I checked the box for i but it's not in there. Is there anyway to get it back onto my screen?

It's most likely at an edge of the screen. it's where I keep mine. Not too sure if it's been moved off the screen. Good old 'reset settings'?
