I didn't know FB had a native J2ME app?

But if so...
Most likely the issue is that it's not allowed to use the GPS.

The default Java security policy does not allow access to GPS or most other features beyond HTTP/HTTPS.

However, now that the Xenon can be hacked, you can modify your Java security policy so third-party applications can have full access to the phone features.
