Howdy,

So i was fooling around with opera mini, and put it in landscape mode with this code added to the .JAD file.

MIDlet-Touch-Support: true
Navi-Key-Hidden: true
UseNativeTextButtons: false
ReverseSoftkeys: false
UseNativeCommands: false
LGE-MIDlet-Height: 240
LGE-MIDlet-Width: 400
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Height: 240
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Width: 400
MIDlet-Screen-Mode: Landscape

Now, I Tried all these, minus the Last 5, and the "softkeys" (correct me if im wrong) are still there.

Anyone else get around this? I have some Games that didnt play correct as a result of the Java Keys.

Thanks,

The Width and Height parameters are necessary, to force the app to address the whole canvas.

Actually, for landscape orientation without the navigation panel, the last 5 paramters are the most important.

UseNativeCommands determines whether the native (on-screen, touch-capable, but LARGE) command buttons are used

UseNativeMenus determines whether the native (on-screen, touch-capable, but LARGE) menus are used

Not sure what UseNativeTextButtons does - so far I haven't seen it have an effect on anything I've checked, but I see it a lot in JAD files.

MIDlet-Touch-Support I guess is there to tell the app that the handset is touch-capable, though I haven't see it affect things either way - either the app is touch-friendly or it isn't.

ReverseSoftkeys I believe swaps the left/right softkeys.

MIDlet-Screen-Mode tells the app what the default screen orientation is.  This is important for the arrow keys to "face" the correct direction, assuming the app will work properly in a 240 height.
