If you had already paired it to a computer via Bluetooth, you should be able to browse it using Bluetooth FTP.

Personally I make it a habit to save all my contacts to SIM and other data to MicroSD card, but there are a few things that are still on the phone.

I broke my screen and had it repaired (I have Geek Squad protection on it) - came back with a new screen, exact same phone "guts" - and all the data intact.

It may not happen in all cases (especially if something internal is broken), but if it's just the screen you might find someone who can replace it.

Mine first started disconnecting when makig calls and then BAM now it will not let me communicate with it at all.  It does not recognize the touch screen.  There is no help at this point according to the customer service rep. I spoke with at LG.  He recommended 3rd party software to retrieve your data but he doesn't seem to understand me whn I tell him it will not recognize the touch screen & without that it is a worthless piece of equipment.  Took it to At&T, they can't help either, recommended a data recovery company, just talked to them and they cannot help.  I would recommend you have them save everything they have on the phone to the SIM card NOW!

BTW, the info I need is critical to a current lawsuit and I can't get it!!!!
