Disabling Auto Lock During Calls - Any Help Please???

I just got my Xenon and there is one little thing I am very annoyed at:

When making a call, the auto-lock comes on (in red) and you have to touch the keypad to use the dialpad while on a call (like say calling your bank)

This auto lock also comes on when the alarm clock goes off...

I know there is a fix for LG Vue (using a hacked Expanded Interface Package), but does anyone know of one for the Xenon? It's really annoying.

I don't think it can be turned off. Its important to lock it while on the phone because when you hold the phone to your face it could be too easy to press a button with your ear or cheek.
