Not sure about that part, I bet someone can help you though.

However, if you have unlimited text messaging you can send the photos to your email at the computer and have them that way.

i tried the "messaging" route. i'm able to to e-mail (with an attachment) from the xenon to Gmail. However, when i try to email from Gmail to my Xenon, the messgae makes it, yet i cant open the attachment. How do you open an attachment on the xenon?

Is your phone set to be recognized as a mass storage device?

If you dont know, go to settings, press on more, then connections, then USB connection.

If its not set to mass storage, set it and try again.

in order for your phone to get an attachment by MMS, it must be 600KB or less.

Having trouble with this...  It was not initially set to Mass Storage so I changed it to Mass Storage.  Still no luck.  Turned it off and back on still nothing.  Any ideas?

Thanks...

You need to make sure your pics are formatted properly probably.  Are they really huge pics (more than likely they are).  Try downsizing them, then sending.

On the wallpapers page there's a link to a free site that changes the size of pics for you.  The xenon is like 240x400 for a good sized screen pic (with your background pic).

So maybe your original pics are too big to send?

It was late and I guess my post was unclear, anyway, my pc will not recognize the Xenon as a dirve or anything.  Even after I have set the USB to Mass Storage.  I have turned the phone off and back on and also rebooted the computer.  Still doesn't see it.

Maybe scrap the cable and get a MicroSD card (or a USB adapter if you already have the card).

I bought a cheap as hell one on Ebay and it works great.  It even came with the USB adapter free.  I didn't have to format my computer, add anything extra--just plugged it in, saved files on it and transferred to the phone.  Might just try that instead of fighting a cable?

I have only been able to access stuff on the memory card through the Mass Storage feature. I don't think you can get to the phone directly.

I think the best and sure way of doing it is by using a card reader for your micro SD card.  It should've come with a regular size SD Card adapter.  Plug it into the reader, drag and drop.

I have the same behavior as vel0city.

Mass Storage mode seems to just let you use the phone as a MicroSD card reader.

so in order to use the data cable, you also need a micro sd card as well (and have phone switched to "Mass Storage Device")?
doesnt make much sense...if you have the micro sd card, why would you even need the data cable?
