Hi All.  Has (is) anyone else experiencing this problem?

I cannot send mms off or receive mms from off of the Rogers network (I can send and receive text though).

I had an LG Xenon previously to this LG Xenon. (without going into an embarrassing story, I lost it in the water, and fried it!) With the first Xenon, I experienced the same problem, called cityfone (who I am going through for Rogers!) They solved it in minutes.  With my new (I have been dealing with them for a  month) they cannot seem to resolve the problem.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this?  By the way I can send mms to anyone else on the Rogers network, and can receive mms from anyone on Rogers.  Thanks in advance for your time and answers.

So if I'm understanding correctly, MMS to/from other users on your network (Rogers) works okay.
But MMS to/from users on a different network fails?

I did find that sometimes you need to change the maximum picture size.  In the Multimedia Messaging options, there is an option for the maximum picture size.  Some networks do not allow pictures over 300K, and I think the default is 600K.  So try changing that setting.

Thanks for the prompt reply.  That had entered my mind and i have tried that to no avail.  I have been working with Rogers for a month now.  hopefully it will be figured out soon.  By the way I downloaded your 'better manual'  fantastic to say the least!

An update:  Having not being able to solve the problem the cellphone company has decided to send me a new sim card and phone number.  Should arrive tomorrow.  hopefully this will correct things. I will keep people informed just in case someone is experiencing the same problem. tks..

Thanks!  I'm glad you like the Better Manual. Smiley
I need to work on it more (even though I've moved to a new phone) but just haven't had the time between big work projects and stuff requiring attention at home.

Hopefully the new SIM will help!  I've seen weird things happen when SIM cards get old.

If they let you, keep your old SIM - it's good as a contacts backup plus it'll let you boot phones that don't like to boot without a SIM (to use the phone for a clock/alarm, etc).

Thanks for the heads up on the old sim card.  As it was they didn't ask for it back.  The new sim and phone number did resolve the problem, sort of...   It was resolved after spending a hour or two on with the tech.  It appears the problem was a 'third party' tech company.. Oh well working now.

Glad to hear it's working now.  Sorry that you had to change phone numbers.
