In the manual it says to delete a contact that has been saved "as a shortcut" on the standby screen, you click on the "x" in the top right hand corner of the contact "box". None of my contacts on the standby screen has this "x" in the corner. I wish I never dragged them onto this screen!!!

Please help - i've done the search first - no luck.

i suppose i could delete them and add them again but that is extra work, when it should work as stated in the manual?Huh

thanks to all replies.

Let's assume you are talking about the left most icon that takes you to the contact 'home screen'.

Find an empty area of one of the three contact pages and press and hold a blank spot for a moment...

The x's you so desire will appear.
