Hi, I've used the browser at times where I hit something on the touch pad screen that causes the browser to magnify and zoom in or out.  It's not the same as tapping the browser and hitting the magnifying glass icon - there's some kind of shortcut to do this that I've been unable to re-create.  Anyone know how?

thanks

o everytime you load a new page the xenon automatically resizes to its screen res - which is 240x400
but there are shortcut keys that you can use on the keyboard

I know that it's not anything that I'm hitting on the keyboard because it's happened with the keyboard closed.  Things just magnify when I brush the screen a certain way.  When you're browsing, and you hit a part of the screen that's not a link and you hold your finger there - you'll notice a real small icon that looks like a magnifying glass.  I'm not sure what you can do with it, or if my fingers are small enough do anything with it.

if you press the magnifying glass a slider scale will appear beside it. You can adjust the zoom (+ or -) but I haven't found a reliable way to activate it yet.

Once you've zoomed, press the mag symbol again to make it disappear.

I'm not talking about the magnifying glass that appears at the bottom, but I think I just figured it out.  If you're browsing using media net, find a neutral part of the screen to touch, if you keep your finger there for like a second, a small icon of a globe and a magnifying glass will appear, then when you take your finger off, it'll zoom in or out.  On google in landscape mode, it zooms 50 and 100%.  I'm not sure if you can control the zooming.  In portrait mode, it zooms at 100 and 103% for me.

Very cool - I never noticed that before. Thanks for pointing that out. Makes it a little easier to zoom.

when you press and hold on a part of the screen that isn't a link, it will zoom in/out based on it guessing the layout of the site. It doesn't seem to guess too well with me, and often times it doesn't zoom in as much as I would like.
