I've seen this question pop up a couple times.  I recently got the Xenon, and have no problem.  Maybe the phone software has the fix?  You should be able to do a phone update.

hmm... I thought that adobe can't be removed from our phones... at least for mine (AT&T) I think the program is integrated into the Software updates.  Do you have a software update option? (under tools)

Adobe Flash Lite is supported on our phones, but the standalone player is not - this is according to some LG specs I found - don't remember exactly where...

The important thing, though, is that the YouTube site "knows" you are browsing from a mobile, and not a PC.

Try the built-in browser to browse to YouTube.  That should work and you should get a sub-page with a link to the mobile-friendly stream.

BTW, if you are using the default browser, you may have changed it to PC mode.

In PC mode, website will think you're browsing from a PC and won't give you mobile-optimized content.

Thus, YouTube will think you need Flash Player instead of feeding you the mobile version.

To change/check your browser's settings...
Launch the browser
Tap somewhere on the screen that's not a link.
Tap the context menu icon on the upper-right part of the screen (rectangle with horizontal lines)
Tap Settings (you may need to scroll down)
Tap User Agent String (last entry in list)

Make sure it is set to Mobile, not PC.

Yes, and the OP is aware of that, but they're getting a message that they need Flash when browsing the YouTube site.

Even if you use the built-in browser, if the browser's User Agent String isn't set to a mobile user agent, then YouTube will feed the browser the PC version of the page and it'll say you need to install Flash.

Try it, you'll see.

Note: Both Opera and Bolt default to mobile user agent strings, so they both should get the RTSP stream that the Xenon can play.  Then again, the built-in browser defaults to Mobile for the User Agent String setting too, so not sure what's going on unless it's been changed.

You're welcome.  Glad we got it figured out.

There are things I like about the built-in browser, and things I don't...

Personally I use Opera Mini most of the time, but I got used to using it on my old phone.

I'll likely switch to Bolt as my primary browser once they get the video playback problem fixed (it's still not fixed in Beta 3), as I do most of my surfing in Landscape mode and I like how they play the video within the program instead of having to jump out to the media player app.
