'SIM not allowed mm #3'

What the heck is this? I have had my new xenon 4 days now and this screen has appeared 4 times now. There is no signal when this appears and the only way I have been able to get a signal is to restart the phone. What does this message mean and is there another way to get the signal back other than turning the phone off then on again?

Never seen that message before. I'd go back to the store and get it exchanged, assuming you can reproduce the behavior.

sounds like you may need a new sim card. the store can do that for you in just a few minutes.
