I got a silicone case from ebay, and it fits fine but I have to remove the case to charge the phone (the tracks that allow it to open and close cover the charging port). Do they all fit that way?

Ha. It looks as if you might have gotten a bad case. or maybe not. Haven't seen the silicone cases yet.

Who was your seller, as this may be a knockoff.

That looks like it may go on a bit further. You could try heating it, and stretching it a little. It's worth a shot.

Yeah but if it really is a knockoff, and he messes it up, then he can't return it.

I would go and check out the ones in the store and compare it to yours before you do anything evasive.

It was just a cheap Chinese knockoff, so I wasn't expecting much. The seller I used was http://myworld.ebay.com/emaxland

lightninman is right about the fit. I massaged/stretched the silicone a little and it fits better. The port is no longer covered, but I still have to take the case off to charge it... The metal portion of the charger is too short (or the plastic portion is too bulky, depending on how you want to look at it).

I bet I could cut some of the silicone away to make it fit, but it isn't that big of a deal. It is still a cool case, and it was super cheap compared to the $30 ones at AT&T Smiley

Thanks everyone Smiley

Yeah. you can't expect much from chinese knockoffs.

I am glad to see that you got it somewhat fixed, and are happy with it.

I should try one of those. I want to protect my phone, but the "rubberized" hard case scratched up badly, so I'm not very willing to use it anymore. Tell me how it works for you.

Well, my toddler threw the phone on the tile floor twice yesterday and it just kind of bounced and the phone is fine.
