Howdy,

This case will be coming in the mail in a few days. Got it on ebay for like 7$ shipped.

It is "rubberized" so I'm not sure exactly how it will be. but i will review it when i get it.

The rubberized on Ebay are a bit bulky.  I bought the exact same one.  AND they also scratch up the phone a bit which is odd b/c that's the point (for them to NOT scratch it).  But they're so tight and the way they connect leaves very small scratches.

The MAIN issue with any case is the "lock" key.  They may it VERY hard to hit since you have to a lot.  If you have big hands/fingers you'll find it VERY difficult to use it.  Other than that I like my case.  Keeps the big scratches off.

so they are hard to remove?
it doesn't sound very good.

would you recommend to just get a screen protector instead?

No, it's worth the small $7 for it for sure.  It actually is somewhat of a screen protector itself b/c it is so bulky.  It raises up about 1/8 of an inch when assembled on your phone.  So, if you drop your phone your screen is pretty safe.  Unless you hit a corner edge of something with your screen itself-which I haven't done nor come close to doing.  You'll see that when you get it.

For $7 you can't really beat it.  It's bulky, it does connect fairly 'hard' but to protect a $250 phone (value that is) it's worth $7.

I don't have a screen protector at all.

im getting a screen cover,  a silicone case, a car charger, an adapter to go to the computer and a disk that lets you load the things onto the computer for 9$ total on ebay. You should look into it. The deal is really good. It comes with the screen cover witch i think will be well worth it. Just look around on ebay, they have loads of cool colors and prints too!!! Grin

I also have the hard "rubberized" case, and its doing fine. It doesn't protect the screen too well, only if you drop it on a flat surface. It cuts into the area around the screen, but only noticeable in direct sunlight. Incredibly hard and annoying to remove, and I get scared every time because it lifts the upper part of the phone up, and looks like it might break the hinge. Like it was said earlier, if you have big fingers, it's difficult to press the unlock key. I consider it a good investment, but I'm considering getting a screen protector, just in case.

--Update--

One of the prongs on the top part scratched up the keyboard every time I opened or closed it, so I decided not to use it, and maybe look for a silicone case.

i was looking at cases like those and finally decided to just get one of thoe leather holster type cases. No scratches, no added bulk. I did get a rubberized one to for those rare occasions i dont have a belt and want to protect the phone, but ill probably rarely use it.

That's good just make sure it doesn't have a magnectic latch, as it messes with the phone's sliding mechanism, and prevents the phone from switching from portrait to landscape. Otherwise, it's a very good choice.

i got the ifrogz case from at&t and it is a pretty good case, until you take it off the phone a lot. the back is kinda rubber, it has a plastic part that goes around the phone and a screen protector. my screen protector fell off after a while and the pin on the top part broke and now the plastic part broke. it does do a good job of protecting the phone until it breaks. the photo doesn't show the screen protector.
